Nairobi's Azimio Kingpin Reuben Ndolo Backs former Deputy Speaker Ken Ng'ondi for Speaker's Post
Former Makadara Member of Parliament (MP) Reuben Ndolo has entered the Nairobi Speaker’s contest campaign trail by throwing his weight behind former deputy Speaker Ken Ng'ondi for the position. The veteran Politician who was Makadara MP and later Chairman of Athi water services board and President of the Kenya Professional Boxing Commission (KPBC) is lobbying the Azimio-One Kenya alliance allied Members of County Assembly (MCAs) to rally their support behind Ng’ondi for the Nairobi Speaker’s post. Ndolo went ahead to prevail upon the Nairobi County Service Board member Jack Owino who is in the race on an Azimio ticket to step down in favour of Ng’ondi. “We need a united front as Azimio if we are to wrestle the post from our Kenya Kwanza rivals. Let’s support Ng’ondi for the post as he has been tried and tested by his experience as an MCA and deputy Speaker who can be trusted in navigating the Nairobi County Assembly effectively,” he said. ...
