Omanga it is, Kamukunji Declares in Race for Woman Rep

Senator Millicent Omanga today received a major boost when she was endorsed by the Kamba community living and working in the expansive and populous Kamukunji constituency.

The senator, who is vying for the Nairobi Woman Representative position on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket was endorsed by the community who are largely business people said that Omanga is the best candidate to become Nairobi’s third Woman Representative since she has proven to have the best interest of not only women but the entire county in these years when she has been in the senate.
“She has been a senator without the affirmative action fund but Omanga has used her means to ensure that she is always there to listen to us. She is our candidate and we shall rise early on 9th August to vote for her to parliament,” Maureen Kioko, a trader in Eastleigh said during Omanga’s campaign in the area.

She was accompanied by Maendeleo chap chap party leader Machakos Governot H.E Alfred Mutua, Kamkunji UDA MP candidate Hassan Robow and all UDA MCA candidates in Kamkunji led by Hashim Kamau who is vying to be California MCA.
“I am determined to bring change and improve our social and economic status. Together we shall make this dream come true,” Omanga said.

Earlier on, Omanga held series of campaign meetings in Roysambu constituency.
