Sakaja and Nairobi County Executives Offer New Year's Goodies to Nairobians

Nairobians are no longer interested in mere rhetoric but want development projects that will improve their living standards. It is high time leaders respected wananchi and focused on work instead of politics,” said Nairobi County Government executives.

The Nairobi county government executives have rolled up their sleeves ready to execute the mandate by performing their duties in the new year of 2023 which is just a few days away after the general elections which were held on August 9th, 2022.

“I create an enabling environment for accelerated and sustainable economic growth through pursuit of prudent economic and fiscal policies and coordination of the County Government financial and economic operations,” said Abdi.

The Ministry of Health Facilities Chief Officer Geoffrey Mosiria committed to ensuring the provision of quality and targeted health services that respond to the unique challenges that come with the high populations in Capital cities.

“I will work in ensuring a plan will that enable the health sector in Nairobi City County to play its role in the realization of the national objectives outlined in the Economic Recovery Strategy, the Millennium Development Goals and Vision 2030 and overall the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). It is my hope that we will have a well-coordinated approach in our interventions that translates into better health outcomes and improved health status of the population in Nairobi City County and its environs,” said Mosiria.

The Chief Officer in charge of Youth, Talent and Sports Oscar Igaida said he will push for the Nairobi County government to be channeling more resources towards the rehabilitation of sporting facilities to help tap local talents and position the capital city as a sporting tourism hub in Africa.
