Katuku to Wiper: Azimio is Not About Individuals, It is About Our Kamba Nation

Monday 25th April, 2022: Machakos county leading senatorial candidate Hon. Mutua Katuku has today called on Wiper Democratic Movement politicians to put community first in their engagement within Azimio-OKA coalition.

Speaking in Mwala sub county Hon. Katuku who is vying on a People’s Trust Party (PTP) ticket has called on the Wiper fraternity to look into the long term benefits that the community is bound to get in the Azimio-OKA government come August 2022.

Mundu as he is popularly known in the county has called out on those giving conditions to the coalition’s flag bearer Hon. Raila Odinga to desist from confusing the kamba people and instead offer unequivocal support to deliver the presidency and allow the community benefit from being part of the government of the day.

"We the kamba have suffered for being out of the government. Now we have the real chance of forming part of the next government", said Katuku.

"I call on my brothers in Wiper to cool down and stop giving ultimatums to our Presidential candidate for their support. It is about benefiting our kamba people not an individual", he added.
