Katuku: No Zoning For Any Azimio Party in Machakos County

There is no zoning for any political party under the Azimio-OKA Coalition for any political seat in Machakos county.

This is according to senatorial frontrunner in Machakos county, Hon. John Mutua Katuku who is also the party leader of People's Trust Party.

Katuku clarified that all candidates in the various political parties associated with the Azimio-OKA coalition will have to face the electorate in the general elections and there will be no stepping down for preferred aspirants.
"Azimio has no preference for any candidate. It is the electorate who will decide", stated Katuku while addressing the media.

"If you want to be governor or Senator like myself all you need is to sell your manifesto and ideas to the electorate because there is no preferred candidate in Azimio", added the former finance and water minister.

Katuku asked the Machakos electorate to ignore rumours of there being any preferred candidate in the coalition. 

Katuku who is currently leading the pace in the Senate race in the county is running in a PTP ticket.

Head of Firearms Criminal Enterprise on The Run, Being Pursued by DCI

A Nairobi businessman and communication consultant has asked the inspector general of police and the Director of Criminal Investigation, Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim Amin to investigate a Mr. Antony Kariuki. In a statement, Evans Wafula alleges that he lost  Kshs. 460,000 to Mr. Antony Kariuki, in what he believed is a syndicate organized and run by Mr. Antony Kariuki.  The syndicate involves senior officers from the firearms licensing bureau and a ring of criminal enterprise that include Mr. Antony Kariuki.
