Senator Kwamboka Support Passaris Bid to Deliver For Azimio
Nairobi, Friday 27th May, 2022: Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Senator Beatrice Kwamboka has drummed up support for Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris calling on Nairobi residents to turn up in their numbers during the August 9th general elections and elect Passaris along with all other Nairobi Azimio La Umoja One Kenya candidates.
Kwamboka asked the people of Nairobi to ensure they elect the entire Azimio La Umoja line up.
The Senator, who was seen publicly with Passaris for the first time yesterday since she missed out on securing nomination by ODM to be the Azimio La Umoja candidate for Nairobi woman representative, appeared in a jovial photo that Passaris posted on her official social media pages.
Kwamboka who is believed to have a huge support in Nairobi especially in the informal settlements and The Westlands and Eastlands parts of Nairobi has vowed to remain a strong member of the Orange party and has asked her followers who had felt disappointed to vote for Passaris and the entire Azimio candidate to make the City a better place to live, work and do business in.
Kwamboka who also has a strong support base from the Abagusi community living in Nairobi has vowed to rally her populous community in Nairobi to vote for Passaris who was her main challenger for the Azimio ticket.
The Abagusi community in Nairobi felt left out since Dagoretti North Member of Parliament Simba Arati changed his political base to vie for the Kisii gubernatorial seat while Senator Kwamboka is no longer on the ballot for the Woman Representative race.
Kwamboka has a huge task ahead of her to woo the Abagusi in Nairobi following the nomination of Passaris’ main challenger Millicent Omanga who also comes from the Abagusi community.
Kwamboka has taken the task in her stride with pundits believing she is able to deliver the Kisii votes to Passaris due to her close ties and her continued support to the her community in Nairobi unlike Senator Omanga who the Abagusi community has previously accused of neglecting them even after being nominated to the Senate.
