Ngatia Appointed to Lead Azimio Campaigns Countrywide Alongside Kananu

President of Kenya National Chamber Richard Ngatia has been appointed to Chair Azimio campaigns countrywide focusing on business community. 

Azimio's flagbearer Raila Amolo Odinga announced this during a rally at Embakasi south in addition Ngatia being Presidential special envoy for trade.

The Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Presidential candidate Raila Odinga has secured unity among Nairobi Governor Anne Kananu the Azimio La Umoja Nairobi Gubernatorial candidate Polycarp Igathe, his running mate Prof. Philip Kaloki and former Nairobi governor aspirant the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hon Richard Ngatia.

The trio will now work together towards delivering the Nairobi Governorship seat to the Azimio la Umoja team under Igathe and Kaloki as the Deputy Governor.
Odinga further appointed Governor Anne Kananu to be in-charge of Nairobi Gubernatorial campaigns for Azimio La Umoja and Ngatia to lead the Presidential Campaigns.

Ngatia has called on Nairobians to vote for the Azimio LA Umoja candidates drumming up support for Odinga.

According to Ngatia, central Kenya should vote for Raila Odinga to be in the incoming government. “Raila Odinga is going to win the elections and all of us in Mount Kenya should rally behind him to be in the next government,” Ngatia said.

He also expressed his support for the Azimio La Umoja Deputy President candidate Martha Karua in the in the next government.

Head of Firearms Criminal Enterprise on The Run, Being Pursued by DCI

A Nairobi businessman and communication consultant has asked the inspector general of police and the Director of Criminal Investigation, Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim Amin to investigate a Mr. Antony Kariuki. In a statement, Evans Wafula alleges that he lost  Kshs. 460,000 to Mr. Antony Kariuki, in what he believed is a syndicate organized and run by Mr. Antony Kariuki.  The syndicate involves senior officers from the firearms licensing bureau and a ring of criminal enterprise that include Mr. Antony Kariuki. According to Mr. Wafula, he has reported the matter to Kilimani Police Station and at Kyumbi Police station, and despite making formal complaints, the arrest and apprehension of Mr. Antony Kariuki and his accomplice have not been instituted.
