Makongeni MCA Imwatok Intensifies Vote Hunt

Nairobi City County Assembly Minority Whip and Makongeni Member of the County Assembly Peter Imwatok has upped his campaign momentum in a bid to marshall a large voter turn out in the vote rich area.

Campaigning for his re- election, and that of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his Nairobi dream team, Imwatok asked the residents of Makongeni to turn up in large numbers during the August 9th general elections and vote for Raila Odinga and the Nairobi dream team of the Azimio la Umoja governor candidate Polycarp Igathe, Edwin Sifuna to the senate, Woman Representative Esther Passaris and himself as the area MCA for a third term to ensure that Azimio la Umoja white washes opponents in the capital Nairobi which is an Azimio La Umoja stronghold.
“I want to thank the people of Makongeni ward for the massive voter registration and as you know, Makongeni ward has been “Baba’s” (Raila Odinga) main political bedroom and we have been voting for Baba in all the past election. We strongly believe that this time round whether Kenya Kwanza kethni or ndikni, Baba is going to win and therefore let us make sure that this happens convincingly by adding our massive numbers on polls day,” Imwatok said.

“We can give Raila and the Azimio La Umoja dream team over 25,000 votes out of the possible 27,000 in Makongeni alone and of course yours truly, as your MCA for the last two terms, I want to continue representing you my people for another term as we push for our most desired development agenda,” Imwatok noted.

“With Raila in Statehouse, Igathe at Cityhall and Sifuna and Passaris in Parliament and Imwatok in the county assembly, I can guarantee you my people that more development projects will come our away and we will be able to tackle the unemployment and other issues affecting our ward easily with this great team in office,” he said.
