Ngatia Hosts Raila in Chamber of Commerce Meeting with Business Community

The Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya business community national presidential campaigns coordinator Richard Ngatia hosted the alliance’s torch bearer Raila Odinga at the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI).

Raila was invited by Ngatia who is the KNCCI boss as the special guest of the organisation’s National Governing Council (NGC) at the Hilton Hotel in Nairobi on Tuesday, June 7th, 2022.
Raila attended the meeting where Ngatia launched his three year report of KNCCI as the chamber president.
Ngatia gave Raila the chance of meeting and talking to the business community where he was able to outline his vision for trade in the country when he becomes the next president.

Raila said with the help and advice of Ngatia a seasoned and prominent successful businessman who is also the Presidential Special Envoy for Trade will create a conducive and enabling environment for trading for both local and international investors to do business with the aim of building the country’s economy.  
In attendance was businessman and the Azimio Coast presidential coordinator Suleiman Shahbal and Indonesia ambasadeur to Kenya Mohamad Henry among other guests.

Head of Firearms Criminal Enterprise on The Run, Being Pursued by DCI

A Nairobi businessman and communication consultant has asked the inspector general of police and the Director of Criminal Investigation, Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim Amin to investigate a Mr. Antony Kariuki. In a statement, Evans Wafula alleges that he lost  Kshs. 460,000 to Mr. Antony Kariuki, in what he believed is a syndicate organized and run by Mr. Antony Kariuki.  The syndicate involves senior officers from the firearms licensing bureau and a ring of criminal enterprise that include Mr. Antony Kariuki. According to Mr. Wafula, he has reported the matter to Kilimani Police Station and at Kyumbi Police station, and despite making formal complaints, the arrest and apprehension of Mr. Antony Kariuki and his accomplice have not been instituted. In June 2022, police arrested a businessman who was allegedly found in possession of a cache of weapons, including 22 high-calibre firearms and 565 rounds of ammunition. Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Richard Ngatia believes that the opportunities provided by the government will allow the country to thrive economically.
