Senator Omanga Cleared to Remove Passaris from Nairobi

"Safari Sasa Imeanza ya Kubadilisha Uongozi jijini Nairobi," said nominated Senator Millicent Omanga upon being cleared to contest for the Nairobi Women's representative seat.

Omanga aka Mama Miradi is on a mission of changing the leadership by removing the incumbent Nairobi Women Representative Esther Muthoni Passaris from the post to inject fresh leadership and sound management  in the city.
Omanga who was cleared by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) on Wednesday, June 1st, is contesting in the Deputy President William Ruto led United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party ticket.

Omanga said her clearance has set off the journey of empowering women, the youth and People living With Disabilities (PWD) and asked voters to elect her so that her dreams and vision for Nairobi may be achieved

Head of Firearms Criminal Enterprise on The Run, Being Pursued by DCI

A Nairobi businessman and communication consultant has asked the inspector general of police and the Director of Criminal Investigation, Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim Amin to investigate a Mr. Antony Kariuki. In a statement, Evans Wafula alleges that he lost  Kshs. 460,000 to Mr. Antony Kariuki, in what he believed is a syndicate organized and run by Mr. Antony Kariuki.  The syndicate involves senior officers from the firearms licensing bureau and a ring of criminal enterprise that include Mr. Antony Kariuki. According to Mr. Wafula, he has reported the matter to Kilimani Police Station and at Kyumbi Police station, and despite making formal complaints, the arrest and apprehension of Mr. Antony Kariuki and his accomplice have not been instituted.
